chapter 1
The Final Chapter.

My heart pounded into my rib cage, tonight was the night. Everything this vessel stood for was about to come to an end. Tonight was exactly like the first night it began, the rain was torrential the blue lights and sirens, dark with dim orange street lights providing my only visible path and the winters bitter, resenting chill freezing the hearts of those who stepped outside. The rags which became my unifom had now been torn and shredded, they became as wet as the puddles beneath my very feet.
Thinking back to the night in which that sweet girl was brutally totured and abused with out no reason bought tears to my eyes. It was painful to see such a tragedy, but it was in fact much worse knowing that it was more painful for her, as the scars would be forever etched on to her mind as much as mine. Slipping down the side of the alleyway, to escape the rain felt like thousands of razor blades simply slashing down up on my face, with out so much as a regard. Whilst exiting the alley I couldn't help but questions as to why this horror happened how did they know where to find and get me? How could they turn there backs on the hero? Pounding these lonesome streets I knew that falling was going to be inevitable, with a sudden lunge and finding myself heading towards a curb chest first cracking all but 2 ribs on my left side. picking my self up there was one thing that must be accomplished. My objective of escaping. Beginning to run with the pain weakening my very body, the sounds of the cars came ever closer and the lights got ever brighter. suddenly a ringing from my pocket stole my ears reaching into my battered jeans i pulled out my cell, pressing answer the sound of brake calipers were heard turning round they had found me placing the phone to my head i heard the faint "hello" when a gunshot transformed my phone my only communication device to a simple target my phone flew out my hand as ferociously as the bullet that went through. Knowing their next step i dived towards the crossroad junction. then just as the first a second shot rang out. this time it hit me. clutching my left side in pain i knew it was nearly my time. blood profusesly drained from my very body. That never stopped me though. with my soul pulling my energy within i crawled my way to the junction. with a sudden focus i struggled to stand but i stood. whilst standing their the rain had cleansed and let itself lick the very gun wound which had weakened my body, the sting of the cleansing rain forced me to collapse and take refuge within the flooded road. breathing heavily with my ribs cracking furthermore under the pressure i stared at my reflection which was overcame by the headlights, the siren and the corruption. all 4 roads were barricaded by the police. closing my eyes and feeling an alien pain, propping and rising myself for what would be my final stand, smiling my penultimate joy,i sheathed my blade. the mechanical beasts halted and their masters stepped out. squaring up to over 20 of them a powercut came about, the sound of over 20 guns loading, as well as the bickering of who would shoot first. the last light to grace this final chapter was one of sorrow, their blue.
dropping my handy companion they circled i roared like a lion hearted beast i persisted to place my hands behind my back after i slid my hood down to reveal my identity. hearing a marching coming towards me from every angle the back of my neck was greeted by the bottom of a rifle. falling to my grave my head bounced off the concrete with tears rolling down my cheek as fast as the blood pouring from my face and side i threw my fist crunching the very bone into the floor. they all stepped back. Throwing myself up with passion and fury the commander emerged and my eye sight narrowed looking up to the skies then to him i stepped closer and closer. my fist retreated back and flew to my target when the sound of a gun went off! with my corpse crashing to my fate the thought of "how could they do this?" came to mind.
a pain staking silence came about perhaps, ironically such a silence managed to make the sound of the blaring sirens obsolete. thoughts of my single love sprang to mind and a montage of moments we had spent together and moments in which we hadn't rattled my bones and and sent chills down my spine and soul.
with the final thought of her auburn hair and her innocence i indulged in my last moment. with my last breath i simply uttered the words:
sorry...
the government were corrrupt as well as the police but my justice was not, im sorry my love but tonight i have failed you. with the power of the lord i pray i get to see you enter heaven from the devil's throne.
